Fundraising Begins for Fenton Township Dog Park

A YouCaring fundraising account has been set up to raise money to develop Fenton Township's dog park. The Township has approved plans for a 1.75 acre dog park on township property located off Thompson Road between Wiggins Road and Fenton Road. The fundraising goal of $25,000 will pay for fencing, signage, landscaping, a road and parking area. Donations can be made online at

Wednesday Office Hours Change

To improve service to our residents, the Fenton Township office will remain open one hour later on Wednesdays beginning October 14, 2015, closing at 6:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m. The later closing time will provide residents the ability to take care of township business after regular work hours. Free Latex Paint Recycling for Genesee County Residents

The Genesee County 911 Dispatch Center has initiated a new program to notify citizens of emergency situations. CODE RED is a “reverse 911” system that will send emergency and critical information to your phone, (missing child alerts, severe weather, etc.).
