Aerial Mosquito Control Operations - April 24, 2015

Fenton Township has again authorized an aerial larvicide application this year as a part of the overall mosquito control program. Advanced Pest Management will coordinate the aerial larvicide operation with Evans Aviation, who will conduct the flights to treat approximately 600 acres of swamps and other areas not reachable by vehicle. Payments for 2014 Summer & Winter Property Taxes can be made at the Fenton Township office until 5:00 p.m. on Monday March 2, 2015. Payments may also be left in the drop box located next to the Township office entrance. [more >>]

ET Rover Removes Genesee County From Pipeline Route

ET Rover Pipeline, LLC has announced that it has signed a contract with Vector Pipeline and its affiliates for firm transportation capacity to deliver gas to markets in Michigan and the Union Gas Dawn Hub in Ontario, Canada, as part of the Rover Pipeline project. [more >>]

Road Ditch and Driveway Culvert Project Cancelled

Due to weather and ground conditions, the planned project to clear ditch lines and replace driveway culverts on Ray Road and Fairbanks Road has been cancelled. Any questions may be directed to Operations Manager Thomas Broecker at 810-629-1537.

Genesee County 911 Center Rolls Out CODE RED Reverse 911 System

The Genesee County 911 Dispatch Center has initiated a new program to notify citizens of emergency situations. CODE RED is a “reverse 911” system that will send emergency and critical information to your phone, (missing child alerts, severe weather, etc.).
