Election Workers Needed

With statewide elections to be held in August and November of 2018, Fenton Township is seeking qualified individuals to work as Election Inspectors. To serve as an Election Inspector, you must be a registered voter in the State of Michigan or, if between the ages of 16-18, a resident of Michigan. Inspectors must be certified by attending election inspector certification training conducted by Fenton Township or Genesee County. Fenton Township has scheduled a certification class for Thursday June 14, 2018 at the Fenton Township Civic Community Center from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Certified inspectors selected to work at an election will be assigned to one of the six voting precincts and earn $150 for a full day’s work. Interested individuals should download and complete a State of Michigan Election Inspector Application form. The completed application, (original hand-written form only; no copies or scans), should be submitted to the office of the Fenton Township Clerk (address below) or brought to the training class. Questions may be directed to the Fenton Township office at 810-629-1537
