Fenton Township Resumes Senior Safety Program
The Charter Township of Fenton is pleased to announce the renewal
of a Senior Safety Program to provide household safety devices to
senior citizens. Fenton Township residents age 62 or older are eligible
to obtain a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher
from the Township at no cost, (limit of one of each device per household).
Please note that residents who obtained these items during the initial
launch of the program in 2010 or 2011 are not eligible to receive
them again. The devices are available at the Fenton Township Office,
12060 Mantawauka Drive, Fenton, MI 48430. Office hours are Monday-Thursday
8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm.
This program is being financed through a federal Community Development
Block Grant awarded to Genesee County and the Charter Township of
Fenton under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1974, as amended.
