The Fenton Township Fire Department is looking to hire additional paid on-call fire fighters.

Employment requirements include:

1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Valid Michigan Drivers License.
3. Live within six (6) miles of a Fenton Township Fire Station.
4. Be in good physical condition and submit to a physical exam.

Basic functions of the job include:

1. Perform specialized duties under emergency conditions.
2. Drive and operate all fire apparatus and rescue equipment.
3. Must be able to lift equipment weighing 50 pounds or more above waist level.
4. Must have a 'team player' attitude.
5. Must have good communication skills to deal with other fire fighters and the public.
