REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
LAKESIDE BALCONY/DECK RENOVATION PROJECT
Sealed proposals will be received by the Charter Township of Fenton, Genesee County, Michigan, for renovations to the balcony/deck located on the lower level of the Fenton Township Civic Community Center, (the “Project”). Proposals will be received at the Fenton Township Civic Community Center, 12060 Mantawauka Drive, Fenton, MI 48430 until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday May 23, 2024.
Proposals are solicited on the basis of a lump sum price for all labor and materials required to complete the project as designed and specified in the Project Scope of Work.
General Project Information:
- Removal and disposal of existing concrete cap.
- Installation of a new stamped concrete deck.
- Removal and disposal of steel doors and lintel angles.
- Installation of new galvanized steel lintel angles.
- Construction of masonry alcoves in the doorway openings.
- Repaint entire balcony structure.

The Township reserves the right to waive any informality in the request for proposals, to reject any or all proposals; and to award the contract in a manner which it considers to be in the best interest of the Township. The Township reserves the right to use whatever reasonable and sensible evaluation techniques it deems appropriate, including consultations with the Township Engineer and/or other qualified consultants.
