UPDATE (July 28, 2025): The Genesee County Road Commission has notified the Fenton Township Office that the project will start on Monday, August 4.
The Genesee County Road Commission (GCRC) will begin its North Road Bridge reconstruction project (just north of Ponemah Drive) on Monday, July 7.
The road will be closed to thru traffic and is expected to reopen to traffic at the end of October.
The GCRC recommends that drivers wanting to access the south side of the project should take Torrey Road through the roundabout on to North Road and that northbound drivers should take Torrey Road to Lahring Road to North Road.
Motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination.
